Grandmother Jeorgina Larocque
Sagaligesgw (Jeorgina Larocque) Plant Woman is a Mi'kmaq elder and grandmother. She is a Medicine Woman, a Storyteller, a Traditional Healer, a visionary and a Wisdom Keeper. She speaks of respect, forgiveness, acceptance, and walking in balance with all around us. She will be the first to state that it is not her doing but CREATOR'S and will take no credit for what CREATOR does through her.
She was taught from the age of 7 years old by her Grandmother. She was her own first patient and if not for her Grandmother would not be walking today. Because of this she has dedicated her life to helping others.
She works with the healing powers of plants and gathers her own medicines. She also utilizes other techniques of healing. She will say like the flowers of the field we are all unique and healing must be correlated to that uniqueness but be one with CREATOR. There is only LOVE and in that WE ARE A CIRCLE OF "ONE" WITH CREATOR.
The greatest gift she wishes to leave behind her when her time on earth is done is that the knowledge
her Grandmother (Raven's Wing) gave to her is not lost but passed on. If she can leave little pieces with individuals then it is not lost. Too much of our knowledge has slipped into obscurity and we must listen very intently to retrieve it. Wellalin

Grandfather Donald Parent
Hi my name is Grandfather Donald; my spirit name is “He Who Walks Amongst the People”. I am from the Micmac nation on the East coast of Canada. MY father’s spirit name is “Rainbow Eagle Warrior” and my mother’s name is “Woman Who Speaks The Truth”. My grandmother’s name is “Raven Wing” and my grandfather’s name is “Running Deer”. My great grandmother’s name is “Shining Water” and my great grandfather’s name is “Crouching Bear”. My great great grandmother’s name is”Soaring Eagle” and my great great grandfather’s name is “Dance Tall” so as you can see I come from a great family of Micmac people.
I have been doing native tradition ceremonies for at least over twenty years. A lot of my teachings come from my elders but most come from spirit in vision. I do not try to follow any native people today as we should do our ceremonies as spirit meant them to be. I have the teachings on the sacred drum and I also perform the sacred sweat lodge tradition. I do believe the sweat lodge belongs to the people because it is the people who need the healing, so the lodge I do works with the people. I also teach on our great Mother EARTH as what we have to do for her to keep her safe... I could go on but as you get to know me you will see and hear that spirit has given me much to teach but even though we have knowledge, we still tend to learn all our lives. I also teach on the sacred talking stick and that its meaning is as today people tend to talk out of line. I also carry the sacred pipe that is passed on to us by spirit as this comes to us by dream or vision. He is carrying the great message of the ancients for 2012.

Grandmother North Cloud Drum
Grandmother North Cloud Drum was awakened in ceremony on July 25th of 2010. The name Sacred Harmony Speaks was temporarily given until the time called to have a Naming Ceremony, which occurred one year later after she was awakened. During this one-year period, Grandmother North Cloud, an all women’s inter-tribal drum from central Vermont, has called women to drum with her. For the duration of that time, we have come together to learn the Traditions of Northeastern Woodland songs and drumming.
We make certain to uphold the Traditions taught to us by our local Elders. Grandmother North Cloud shares her heartbeat with all People, Mother Earth and All Our Relations. She drums where she is called and where the healing is needed. Our Grandfathers and Grandmothers are speaking. At the side of our Grandfathers, Grandmother North Cloud is a voice for our Grandmothers. As Mother Earth restores balance and harmony, Grandmother North Cloud Drum is called to listen, honor, respect and uphold the ‘Old Ways’. We extend ourselves to walk the Red Road.
Ginger Potwin cares for Grandmother North Cloud. The carriers of Grandmother North Cloud include Sandy O’Brien, Tina Bielenberg and Bernadette Rose.
We like to extend gratitude to Sue O’Neill, Drumkeeper of White Deer Spirit Drum, and Red Hawk Medicine Drum, for their encouragement, guidance and support. We like to give additional thanks to our local Elders for their teachings and support.

Special Guests:
Sandy O'Brien
My name is Sandra Waldron O’Brien. I reside in a beautiful rural town in the heart of Vermont. I am referred to in my community as Grandmother Sandy.
My beginnings as a Native American Drummer began over 25 years ago, first on the ‘Native American’ style hand drum. Shortly after, my call to the ‘Big Drum’ began resonating at the core of my being. This call came to me originally during a Sacred Sweat Lodge Ceremony in 1990 of the Sioux tradition.
In 2005, the winds of change blew through my life, re-located me quite a distance away from my drumming community, my family. Time passed and my heart ached for the feelings of the connectedness I had lost with community, Mother Earth and my own heart. These deep feelings led me to put out to Creator, the prayer to find another drum circle, for the well-being and the healing of myself and for the people.
This Prayer was sent out in January of 2011. The next day, I was drawn to make a right turn in the road. What lied ahead at the end of the road was the answer to my prayer; a large building with a sign posted to the door. The sign read, “Native American Drumming Here Today at 1:00 pm.” Inside this building was a ‘Big Drum’ who was strongly calling out to me. Our heartbeats, I felt, began at once resonating as one, in a beautiful, powerful way. I knew her then as Sacred Harmony Speaks and learned that she calls the women in and chooses her members. I am honored she called to me. I feel great gratitude for her teachings presented to me, and the medicine she offers.
This day I met Grandmother Ginger, Caretaker of Grandmother North Cloud Drum. Much healing has since been experienced for myself, the children, Mother Earth and All our Relations. Through Grandmother Ginger, her commitment and deep connection with Creator, Mother Earth and the spirit of the drum, she hears the call of where Grandmother North Cloud needs to be. Through deep inter-connectedness, Grandmother North Cloud continues to help carry us forward with the purpose of our journey and for the healing of the people. She is now calling us to participate in the Earth Day celebration in New York City.
We drum, we sing, we dance, we carry hope that peace, love and joy will reside over our beautiful Mother Earth. May we connect our hearts as one and feel the healing begin.
